Hair, Hair, Everywhere Hair

Yesterday I gave Asher his first haircut. He really did need it. He was growing a mane down the middle of his head...which is great for the Mohawk look, but that's more his dad's thing. And he's getting some hair growth in his "receding hairline" and it looks like fuzz. Anyway, I got out the clippers and put on a longer guard and cut away. Jonathan was there to help with distraction so it went fairly well. Asher was mesmerized by the buzzing sound of the clippers so we needed some good distractions. I think the haircut looks great and the fuzz looks more like hair because it's a more even length. One of many haircuts he'll get from mom!

Asher's Chores

Here is Asher doing his chores. We put him to work early so he develops a good work ethic.

Where's the Beef??

Our son has no rump. It's quite funny because his pants are always falling off.

He likes to "cruise" around the room by using the furniture to balance him out, but he has a tendancy to step on his pants (which are falling off his rump) and trip and fall. It's so cute. We have to really pull his pants up high to get them to stay on a little longer.

Asher is wearing 3-6 month clothes, but his jammies are getting shorter, and I don't think its because his legs are getting super long, its his torso. The pants that he's wearing in these pictures are 0-3 month size. He just doesn't have much to his rump.

I think it can only be considered cute at this age.
