Asher's 3rd Birthday

On March 12, 2009, Asher turned 3-years-old!! We had a little party with my parents on Thursday evening. And had a party with our friends and Jonathan's parents on Friday night at Valentino's. It was a lot of fun! Oh, and his doctor's appointment went great - no shots this time. He weighs 28 pounds (13th percentile) and he is 37 1/2 inches tall (50th percentile). We are so happy that he's growing well!! Enjoy the pictures!

Asher's Activities

Jonathan had his Djembe, drum, home from his office so Asher got to play some music on it. It was fun to see how excited he got playing on a real instrument. So cute.


And this is the wad of dental floss that Asher unwound from the container. It's mint-flavored so he wanted some. I caught him red-handed in our bedroom...and bathroom since it was trailing all over. He was scolded and disciplined. Then I went back in to take a picture since it was kind of funny. Since then, I've hidden the dental floss so we don't have to experience this kind of humor again.


And this is Asher and Phin enjoying a Curious George movie before bed. I love those DVD's because each episode is only 12-15 minutes. It's a special treat to get to watch Curious George before bed. (Phin doesn't stay sitting for very long.)

Strawberries

A few weeks ago I bought strawberries for a baby shower that our Growth Group planned. We had leftovers (since I thought I needed to make the fruit kebabs and so did another girl...oops!) so Phin had his first taste of strawberries. And he liked it. So cute how he had them squished in his hair (he's been doing that a lot lately with fruit...). Enjoy the pics.
