Romp in the Snow

I took Asher out for his first romp in the snow. It only lasted about 5 minutes, but we had fun. He was so cute sitting on top of that little snow pile. He really enjoyed it.


Asher's new thing is licking glass. I guess windows would be more accurate. It's really quite cute, but I am cleaning the windows a lot.


He has also started walking. He's not great at it and can't go for long distances, but it gets him to where he wants to go. It's really fun. But, I think a lot of people say that when it's their first child. A picture of Asher after his "astonishing" walk.

Walkin' In a Winter Wonderland

This past weekend we were stranded in our home as a winter storm clobbered us with ice and a lot of heavy snow. We were very blessed to keep our electricity as the towns around us weren't as fortunate. We didn't even have church on Sunday, but we did have a service over the internet so that was really nice. We even sang the songs in front of the computer.

Today, Jonathan ventured out to Brookside Park to take some pictures of the scenery. It is beautiful, but we'll be ready for a melt down and some warm weather. I'm feeling a bit of cabin fever, especially since we had a few days in the mid-40's last week. I can't wait for Asher to play outside in the spring. But for now, we hope you enjoy the winter pictures.

Pouty Pants

Asher loves to eat! In fact, it's one of his favorite things to do. But when the food runs out, you're sure to hear about it. This picture is a prime example of how distraught Asher can get when his food is "all gone." All this emotion for a banana.
