Growth Chart

I wanted to give you the Asher's Growth Update at 12 months...

Weight: 16lb 8oz (under 3rd percentile)
Length: 28in (just hitting the curve)
Head Circumference: 45 1/2 in (20th percentile)

The doctor told us to keep Asher on formula instead of switching over to whole milk because the formula has more calories in it. His height is encouraging and his head is big...compared to his weight. But developmentally, he's doing great! He's walking around and is making a lot of noises...no words yet, but he's working on it. He can say Mom and Dad but doesn't really know what it means yet. He does sign "all gone" when he's eating and wants more. But he hasn't caught on to the sign for "more." It's all a learning process.

Asher loves to be outside. We went for a walk this morning at 7:50am. He stands by the door right away in the morning and cries because he wants to be out so bad. I have a feeling we'll be using a lot of sunscreen this spring/summer because of all the fresh air we'll be getting. It's really fun having an active little boy!
