1. Grandpas don't do well on a 3 1/2 hour flight with a sleeping toddler on their lap...legs start to fall asleep and get painfully uncomfortable.
2. There is nothing more wonderful than your child bringing you a special gift for the first time. When Asher pulled that pine cone out of his pocket and gave it to me as a gift, it was just wonderful!!
3. Baby Bjorn's are nice to have at the airport, but make sure you have room in your carry-on to stow it away when it's not in use. It can be a pain to carry it around by itself.
4. The condo was AWESOME!! I would recommend this to anyone. It was $99 on weeknights and $110 on weekend nights. If we stayed in a hotel, we would've had to have two rooms, so it's great that my Dad found this place!!
5. Looking back, I'm glad that my boys' internal clocks didn't change, but it was really hard while we were there.
6. Hands never get cold when you're outside having so much fun!!
7. Seattle security was very helpful and nice.
8. You can't pack too many diapers in your carry-on.
9. Sleep is very precious!! Never take it for granted!
10. Home is called "home" for a reason: it's where you're most comfortable, where you can just be yourself, your rules are the only ones enforced and they are respected. I love my home.
11. I am SO thankful for a wonderful Sister, Aunt, and my Parents are so great. They are extremely loving and patient with their grandchildren and nephews.
12. I am SO thankful for such a great husband and father to my kids. He is so helpful and I don't think I thank him enough for that. So, thank you!
