Today's the day! I can't believe that it's here already. Phin is ONE!! Wow! It only seems like yesterday I was in Rock Valley in total denial that I was in labor and four hours away from my doctor and four weeks early for delivery and having blood pressure issues and in a small town and without my new baby outfit and no carseat to take the baby home in and no name for the baby (at least if it was a boy) and I didn't have my nursing stuff...I'm getting a small anxiety attack just thinking about it.On Saturday Asher helped me make dipped pretzel rods. He got distracted and just started eating sprinkles so Dad washed him up and I continued party prep alone.
We had a small party at our house to celebrate and I made cupcakes. Phin opened (well, Dad opened and Phin watched) some presents from our dear friends and family here in Ames. Here are a few pictures to showcase our celebration.
