We wanted to let you know what God has been doing in our lives lately as we have start to look for a house in another part of Ames.
Jonathan and I have enjoyed living in our mobile home but we've been feeling God's call to move to another neighborhood. Jonathan has started to have some new students come on Wednesday nights (moved from inner city Chicago) and most of them are unchurched. We really feel like we could make more of an impact if we were living in their community rather than ministering only on Wednesday nights.
So now, we're praying to sell our home. And please tell anyone who would be interested in a great, affordable home to email us (jjvanmaanen (at) yahoo (dot) com). We need to sell our current home to have a down payment for our next home. Please be praying for us to sell our home quickly and at a good price. We need to sell "for sale by owner" to make sure we get enough for a down payment. We currently have our house on Craig's List so you can refer people there. We are excited for the possibility of this new ministry opportunity. Thanks!!

My grandma is thinking of selling her mobile home in TX and moving back to Iowa. I sent her the info, I'll let you know what she says. She is interested though.
