Jonathan turned 27 on September 18th. We celebrated by having his favorite meal: roast and mashed potatoes; and then we had mini-cupcakes as his birthday cake. Asher liked helping Daddy blow out his candle. It was cute!
We also got a bike helmet for Asher. Daddy took him for a ride behind the bike in the Burley. He didn't get very excited at all, but he was quiet. He looked really cute in his helmet.
Jonathan found some headphones at a garage sale and Asher didn't mind putting them on as long as there was music coming out of them. He loves music and he loves to dance. The headphones were so big they were pushing his cheeks down so he has chubby-looking cheeks. So cute. And we are organizing stuff in the kitchen and we emptied out a cabinet and Asher climbed right in. He didn't want to get out when it was time to put the stuff back in.
Asher also had is 18 month appointment. He weighs 20lbs 8oz (3rd%), and his height is 31in (15th%). He's right where he should be for development with walking, talking, etc. It's fun watching him grow and learn!! We were excited that the doctor gave the ok for whole milk instead of formula all the time. He still needs one glass of formula a day but the rest can be milk. Yay!
