Introducing Addie

I started babysitting Addie on August 1st. She's a sweet 11-month-old little girl. Her mom (Corri) is a pediatrician and her dad (Brandon) is a dentist. They moved back to Ames around June because Addie's mom really liked Ames when she was a student at Iowa State University. And Addie's mom and Jonathan's brother, Jeremy, were friends at ISU through the Navigators. She also helped out with the youth at our church when she was a student here. She's always wanted to come back and raise her kids here. And that day has arrived. ;)

It's nice to see Asher be gentle to some one in our home because we know he doesn't show his brother much gentleness. And Addie really likes Asher. They're a cute pair.

Phin had a harder time with Addie's arrival. He was really clingy to me the first week but has warmed up to her since then. They play pretty well and he loves to share with her.

Addie is a really happy girl. She's easy to take care of and we enjoy having her around. She plays so well with the boys (it helps that she's pretty fiesty herself). ;)

We are so blessed to have them in our community, hopefully our church, and definitely our family. Welcome, Addie. Here's to survival. ;)
