The boys have really been enjoying school. Phin will just follow along with what Asher's doing. When Asher colors a worksheet, Phin colors a picture. When Asher does a craft, Phin does a craft. It's pretty cute. And Asher asks me every morning, "When are we doing a project?" ;) We don't do projects everyday, but some days we do some really fun things.
Our first week's theme was airplane and our letter of the week was A. They have little wooden cars/planes/trucks at Wal-Mart for $.88 so I bought two airplanes and I had paint and brushes at home. They had a ball painting their little airplanes. Asher doesn't sit still for anything, but when he was painting his plane, he was so diligent, quiet and focused. I love that!! I think painting does more for him than coloring...maybe it's that boy-kinesthetic learning style I've been reading about. ;)
Of course, Phin had to taste the paint. Yuck!!
