Jonathan put Asher to bed last night because I was at a Women's Ministry meeting. Jonathan decided not to put the gate up in front of Asher's door. He did really well at Grandpa and Grandma's house so we thought this would be a good time to transition.
Jonathan had a meeting early this morning and kissed me before he left and I went back to sleep. I woke up at 8am and was thinking how nice of the boys to sleep in. I was tired after being up with the boys over the weekend so I was pleasantly surprised, until I peeked in Asher's room and he wasn't there. Uh-oh!
I ran into the living room and he wasn't there...but I heard munching in the kitchen. I came around the corner to find Asher finishing off his Advent chocolates. Yep, they're all gone and the packaging torn to shreds.
PS. Thanks, Grandma Joyce, for the Advent calendar. It was definitely enjoyed!!

That is awesome!!! Too funny! Just gotta love the minds of children!! And take time and laugh hard about it!! What a cutie!
Classic. It's hilarious because I can see my own children doing the same thing.
Man, that makes me laugh yet! It is a funny memory!
Your dad and I remember when you did this Jessica to your sisters Advent Calendar a few years back. A little chocolate is good for even Asher. It is a memory to cherish.
